SPONSORSHIP: Cornerstone is a faith mission and has existed in Dandenong for the past 10 years and we celebrate Godıs Provision during that time. As far as the food program goes in all that time we have had wonderful support from local government, business, the Lions club and a wide variety of individuals that have provided us with the funds to provide good, quality meals. However, a little known aspect of our work is the sponsorship of a worker to assist in the programs for 30 hours per week. Initially this was in the area of youth and the running of a youth programs in schools. In recent years this has been handed over to others. Our current worker is Paul Briscoe and his role has built on the work done by John McWhirr in the area of drug education and the development of small group programs to meet the needs of the people who come through the doors. Paul is in the frontline being the initial contact at Cornerstone for those referred by other agencies. To continue and maintain his program Cornerstone need sponsors to assist financially . If you are interested in assisting with this aspect of our work donations can be sent to our Wages Treasurer PO BOX 368 Dandenong. Cheques etc can be made out to Cornerstone Outreach Worker. SPEAKERS: If you would like to hear more about our work contact the office and we will arrange a speaker for your organisation. Information packs are available and there is a wealth of information on our website. Further Information: Want to know more about Cornerstone? Contact us or drop in for a visit.
